Create a Retirement That Is Purposeful, Fulfilling, and Uniquely Yours

  • Are you planning to retire within the next few years?

  • Want to create a meaningful retirement plan beyond finances?

  • Feel anxious about losing your professional identity and social network?

  • Want greater purpose and fulfillment?

  • Worry about how retirement may change your relationships and daily living?

Retirement is one of life's most significant transitions. It involves more than retirement financial planning.

While retirement often brings freedom and new opportunities, it can also raise unexpected questions about identity, purpose, relationships, and what comes next. The transition may also include grief and anxiety over separation from your employer and co-workers.

As a Retirement Coach, Therapist, and Instructor of classes on thriving in retirement, I will help you navigate this change with confidence, clarity, and intention.

Rather than simply asking, "What am I retiring from?" coaching invites you to explore, "What am I retiring toward?"

Together, we will explore how to create a retirement that reflects your values, interests, and aspirations. I will partner with you to:

  • Address your emotions associated with the transition

  • Design a plan on how to separate from your employer with dignity

  • Clarify your vision for retirement

  • Discover new sources of purpose

  • Create meaningful daily routines

  • Strengthen personal relationships and plan to increase social networks

  • Balance freedom with structure

  • Design a lifestyle that feels rewarding and fulfilling

Coaching provides a supportive space to reflect, explore possibilities, and create intentional plans that align with the life you want to build.

Important: If you experience anxiety and/or depression over your separation from employment or undergoing the transition, I can provide therapy services, and these sessions will be covered under your insurance mental health services.

Is retirement coaching different from financial planning?

Yes. Financial planners focus on your financial resources and retirement income. Retirement coaching focuses on the emotional, psychological, relational, and lifestyle aspects of this transition. These services often complement one another.

What if I'm not sure when I'll retire?

Coaching can be valuable before retirement as you consider your options, prepare emotionally, and begin envisioning the life you want to create.

Is coaching only for people who are struggling?

Not at all. Many clients seek coaching because they want to make the most of retirement, approach the transition with intention, and create a life that is engaging, meaningful, and aligned with their values.
